Training and Logistics

The program duration is 1 month for existing workers and 2 months for recent graduates.

The training is a hybrid of online and face-to-face sessions. It includes one day for an exam, 5 days of face-to-face classes, 5 days of online review, and the remaining days are for online and self-learning.

Classes are usually held during the day. However, if there are more than 20 participants, a request can be made for online classes at night.

All participants must bring their own laptops. During the training, we will install a few applications for the hacking process.

If there are fewer than 20 participants, the classes are held at KISMEC in Sungai Petani. If there are more than 20 participants, the classes will be held at the applicant's location.

Assessment

According to the module, the exam is not difficult.

The exam is conducted face-to-face.

The information available states that a you need to refund 100%. We will only proceed with the exam when the participant is fully prepared. you may need to seat 2nd attemp.

It is possible to pass, as we provide exam preparation. The exam will only be taken when the participant feels ready.

If a participant fails, they must repay 100% of the program fee to YP. For your information, no one has failed the cyber security course at KISMEC yet if they have taken the exam. The only people who have failed are those who did not take the exam.


Registration and Eligibility

The program is targeted at Malaysian, Bumiputra individuals with a diploma, degree, or existing workers who are interested in the area of Cyber Security.

During the briefing by Peneraju, a "guarantor" was not mentioned, nor is it stated in the application form. We will forward this question to Peneraju for clarification.

CTC is required for mandatory documents (IC, Birth Certificate, and Bank Statement)

Tentative Program Schedule for Degree

For both Graduates and Working Adults, you should prepare copies of your IC (Identification Card), Birth Certificate, and Bank Statement. It is best to have these Certified True Copies (CTC) by your employer, a dean, or a similar authority.

We will have to wait for YP's decision. YP may approve the application or request that the documents be resubmitted.

Payment and Fees

The 100% training fee will be deposited into the participant's account, and the participant will then be responsible for paying the amount to KISMEC.
